A$AP Rocky Drops New Track "D.M.B." With Video Featuring Rihanna
In the visual, Rocky poses the big question — “Marry Me?” — on his grill.
A$AP Rocky on Thursday dropped off his latest single, “D.M.B.,” alongside a music video featuring Rihanna, who is currently pregnant and expecting her first child with the rapper.
The visual, which was written, directed, and executive produced by Rocky for AWGE, is described as “an ode to the classic love story, with Rocky and Rihanna depicting true ride-or-die characters in a devoted relationship despite their circumstances.” Bouncing between several New York City scenes, the two icons express their affection for one another across an almost five-minute adventure filled with special effects and comical plot lines. Later in the video, Rocky poses the big question — “Marry Me?” — by opening his mouth and revealing his grill, to which Rihanna responds with her own icy grill reading “I Do.”
The track itself enlists production from Rocky, Skepta, Shlohmo, Hector Delgado and Kelvin Krash, with additional production from D33J. A$AP Ferg offers up background vocals on the track, too.
Rocky has featured on tracks including Nigo‘s “Arya” and “Lost and Found Freestyle 2019”, $not’s “Doja” and A$AP Ant’s “Tha God Hour,” though his last full-length release remains 2018’s TESTING.
