Tristan Eaton Releases NFT in Aid of Ukraine
The edition of 500 releases today on OpenSea.

Tristan Eaton has joined the fight in raising aid for Ukraine. After releasing several NFT projects in the past, including 5,000 unique tokens dubbed G.E.M.M.A., the Los Angeles-based artist created a mural of the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the message “Слава Україні,” meaning “Glory to Ukraine,” which will be auctioned off today as an edition of 500 NFTs on OpenSea.
Made in conjunction with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), Eaton aims to show the philanthropic potential of the NFT community, while providing cash assistance, emergency relief supplies, and support to community-based refugee centers in Poland and Romania as the influx of individuals fleeing continues.
In a statement on the release, Eaton commented:
“Like most of the world, I’m horrified to see what’s happening in Ukraine right now. My heart goes out to the thousands of innocent people fleeing their homes because of a senseless war. The way I’ve made change in the world is through my art. While sitting half way across the world I felt helpless but compelled to act and create. With the motivation of my NFT collecting community and a box of spray paint, I knew I could help in some way.”
This latest endeavor joins a long list of artists, activists and labels who’ve shown support for Ukraine amidst Russia’s invasion, including Our Legacy and 032c, Cindy Sherman and Marina Abramović, to even a former NASA astronaut. Eaton’s Glory to Ukraine NFTs will be available to purchase today with an accessible base price of 0.1 ETH. To learn about more ways on how you can help, please see the list below.
