Shinola’s New Traveler Chronograph Is Inspired by the Company’s Michigan Routes
Carrying a Swiss-made quartz movement assembled in Detroit.
Shinola has now introduced its latest Traveler Chronograph, a timepiece inspired by its home state Michigan’s very own sand dunes. Carrying a 42mm stainless steel case, the timepiece is offered in three different dial configurations: an off-white background with beige numerals, a vibrant yellow background with pristine white numerals, and a classic black background with slightly green lumed numerals.
All three variants sit under a vintage-inspired domed sapphire crystal and above of Swiss-made Argonite 5021 quartz chronograph movement that is then assembled locally in Detroit. Finishing the watches are either a canvas or whip-stitch leather strap and a clean wooden box for safe storage.
For those interested, all four Traveler Chrono models are now available over on Shinola’s website, with the gold-toned model going for $940 USD while the other three stainless steel options go for $895 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Reservoir has introduced its first-ever chronograph.
