Having dropped its exclusive André Saraiva collaboration last week, Longchamp took over its Soho boutique in New York with charming doodles and vibrant handbags to commemorate and exhibit the new collection.

In an evening of conviviality and art-making hosted by creative director Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp invited friends of the maison – including the likes of Alexa Chung, Colette founder Sarah Andelman, DJ Aiden, model Anaa Saber, and artist Futura 2000 – to toast the Saraiva collection. As well as DJ Alix Brown supplying the music for the night, guests were able to take in a first-hand live art performance by André Saraiva.

Leaving colorfully accessorized with Le Pliage totes and purses from the collection, the Longchamp event came as a refreshing return of fashion parties and in Longchamp’s words, a “Joie de vivre”.
