AVNIER and Salomon Present Two Minimalist Takes on the XA Pro 3D
Releasing on April 14.
The Parisian label AVNIER and Salomon are continuing their partnership with yet another collaboration, and for this season it takes on the XA Pro 3D.
Serving up two alternating colorways — “White/Tobacco Brown/Black” and “Black/Tobacco Brown/White” — the all-terrain running shoe appears in palettes better suited for the streets. However, this does not take away from the XA Pro 3D’s credentials, as it still packs Salomon’s proprietary 3D Advanced Chassis that delivers a constant ride across all terrains, an All Terrain Contagrip® outsole, and a reinforced toe cap for extra protection.
The tech doesn’t stop there, as the pair also features EnergyCell high-performance EVA foam, a customizable SensiFit™ structure, and molded OrthoLite insoles, which all come together to make this sneaker a formidable trail-tackling pair.
For this collaboration, AVNIER adds a webbing stripe that runs down the length of the tongue underneath the QuickLace system, appearing in white on the black colorway and alternatively in black on the white iteration. Here, the AVNIER moniker appears in block capitals, while further Salomon branding adorns the heels. Rounding out the pair is a final touch of AVNIER branding on the insoles.
Per Bodega, the AVNIER x Salomon XA Pro 3D collaboration is considered a quick strike release, meaning pairs will be limited. The collaboration will drop on April 14 at 10 a.m. EST at Bodega and other stockists worldwide, retailing for $160 USD a pair.
