Air Jordan 1 Mid Receives the Classic "Grape" Treatment

A nostalgic color story for a modern silhouette.

Michael Jordan‘s signature footwear lineage is home to a laundry list of classic color schemes, and one of the more popular ones is the “Grape” palette. OG sneakerheads will commonly associate this presentation with the Air Jordan 5 and its throwback moments with Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and now its hues have been borrowed by this forthcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid for the ladies.

This 90s-inspired pair takes on a three-toned look, and most of the smooth leather upper comes fitted with “Grape” notes that plaster the forefoot and quarter overlays, the laces and the collars. Blasts of a bold teal tone pour drop off onto the Swooshes, ankle and lower heel overlays as well as the toe boxes, and come balanced out with stark black hits atop the tongues, quarter panels. Stacked down below are midsoles that are styled with angelic finishes as well as treading that’s completely cowled with a teal exterior.

Check these out in more detail above, and make a note that these will likely be dropping in the coming months.
