Emerging New York label TIER has found its groove for Fall/Winter 2022, continuing on with its new “TIER Island” collection and campaign.

Collection pieces comprise a green camouflage ensemble, graphic logo hoodies and textured cargo separates; utility and abstract design elements also make an appearance. Additionally, the TIER logo is graphically incorporated onto a convertible jacket that morphs into a sleeveless vest, while a black-and-white printed jacket evokes a modern houndstooth pattern.

This latest drop in the creative fashion brand’s four-part project includes a conceptual focus on the outdoors and a fictional utopia. Inspired by “the beauty of travel,” the collection proposes the idea of a more balanced ecosystem alongside the ideal of an island vacation.

Moreover, the brand is also gearing up for its first brick-and-mortar location opening in April, which will be stationed at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, California.

Although it’s a Brooklyn-based company – founded in 2014 by Brooklyn natives Nigeria Ealey, Esaie Jean Simon, and Victor James – TIER’s expansion into LA will allow the business to continue to bridge the gap between affordable luxury and elevated experiences. And commenting on the cross-country endeavor, Ealey (the brand’s creative director), says: “It feels right. The east and west coasts have always been deeply rooted together.”

“From a cultural and expansion standpoint, placement is also key. Locking in that specific store – amongst luxury brands and corporate giants – to show our community and the world that there’s no limit to where you can take it,” he adds.

TIER has amassed a buzz-worthy following over the years, with celebrity clients including Bryson Tiller, Winnie Harlow, Rick Ross, Young Thug and more.

“Tier Island” collection item prices range from $88 USD to $270 USD, and can be found on the brand’s website.

Elsewhere in fashion, Andreas Kronthaler theatrically reimagined Vivienne Westwood’s label for FW22.
