Schnayderman’s has unveiled a new collaboration with Stockholm-based artist Marcus Mårtenson, looking back at events of the last two years. A particular inspiration is the way that normal daily life was stopped suddenly as the pandemic spread across the world, leading to a change in perspective for many people.

Mårtenson has added his artwork to Schnayderman’s pieces including the Shirt Boxy and the Shirt Notch. Motifs used include the phrase “Information Overload,” as well as an all-over print featuring “famous things that soon will become obsolete.”

Launching the collection, Mårtenson said:

“The artwork I created for this collection is focused on artificial intelligence and how we’re being changed by it. A lot of the things that we take for granted are becoming obsolete. The amount of information we are taking in each is bigger now than any other time in history, and that might not be the best thing for us in the long run.”

The collaboration is available now via the Schnayderman’s web store, as well as at select stockists.

In other fashion news, Union LA recently linked up with Supervsn for a new collaborative capsule.
