Nike Air Max Plus Receives the "Grape" Treatment
Insoles are decorated with grape icons and Nike branding.

When cooking up new footwear designs, Nike will often reference its laundry list of archival themes to inform its various iconic staple silhouettes. For example, the “Grape” motif that is associated with the Air Jordan 5 has made its rounds across various Swoosh models such as the Air Max 90, Air Max 97, and Air Max 95, and now the Air Max Plus is getting its moment to do its own interpretation.
In a similar fashion to the aforementioned Jumpman offering, the base layers on this forthcoming installment are treated with a white mesh exterior, and the model’s signature curvy molds that span across the upper come styled with purple to white gradients. More fruit-inspired purples drop off on the lace loops, mudguards and tongue emblems, while vibrant splashes of teal line in the interior side of the tongues, border the mid-foot Swooshes and arrive on the midsole molds and Air units. Heels come prepared with black leather overlays and the traditional TN logos, while the insoles are fashioned with actual grape imagery and overlapping Nike Sportswear logos.
There’s still no hard launch date for these yet, but you can likely find Nike dropping these in the coming months for $160 USD.
In other news, the Nike Dunk Low “Racer Blue” has been unveiled.
