Nike Celebrates Air Max Day With Three Regional Exclusive Air Max 1s in This Week's Best Footwear Drops

Now that St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are over and the electricity around the March Madness tournament is picking up, we’re winding down to the last couple of weeks of the month. HYPEBEAST‘s weekly footwear Sole Mates series brought in a very special guest in Steven Smith who was able to shed light on creating some of the most iconic and innovative silhouettes known to date, working alongside Kanye West and designing the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner.” We also spoke with Brooklyn artist Krink to discuss his newest collaboration with Vault by Vans. In terms of news, Nike sparked buzz around numerous footwear offerings such as the Nike SB Dunk “Pineapple” and “Cherry” colorways, and Philadelphia Phillies-inspired Dunk, another duo of sacai x Nike Blazer Lows and its upcoming Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 and Air Max Penny 2 collaborations.
