The Air Jordan 3 “Muslin,” adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner” and Nike Dunk Low “Vintage Green” are also dropping.

Now that St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are over and the electricity around the March Madness tournament is picking up, we’re winding down to the last couple of weeks of the month. And to coincide with all of the energy surrounding The Big Dance, your favorite sneaker brands such as Nike, adidas, Reebok and more have a slew of enticing launches coming, but let’s first zero in on all of the action that came up in the sneaker space last week.
HYPEBEAST‘s weekly footwear Sole Mates series brought in a very special guest in Steven Smith who was able to shed light on creating some of the most iconic and innovative silhouettes known to date, working alongside Kanye West and designing the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner.” We also spoke with Brooklyn artist Krink to discuss his newest collaboration with Vault by Vans. In terms of news, Nike sparked buzz around numerous footwear offerings such as the Nike SB Dunk “Pineapple” and “Cherry” colorways, and Philadelphia Phillies-inspired Dunk, another duo of sacai x Nike Blazer Lows and its upcoming Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 and Air Max Penny 2 collaborations.
Another brand that delivered a decent amount of energy was adidas which brought word of another YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Sand” resissue, a new collection with South Park and a stealthy T-Mac 2 colorway with black patent leather. Other imprints such as Reebok and Birkenstock also made some noise, the former of which announced the continuation of its Reebok Reserve program with more Classic Leather 1983 Vintage colorways and teased its collaboration with Nicole McLaughlin while the latter brought us a closer look at its Dior x Birkenstock Tokio.
Now that we’ve got you informed on all of the hottest footwear news, let’s dive into the best drops of the week down below. When you wrap up there, be sure to head over to HBX to peep more footwear styles.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner”
Release Date: March 22
Release Price: $300 USD
Where to Buy: CONFIRMED
Why You Should Cop: Of all of the sneakers that Kanye West and adidas have produced together, few hold icon status like the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Waverunner.” The kicks first debuted during the YEEZY Season 5 runway show in 2017 and essentially made the chunky “dad shoe” look popular. This will be the shoe’s fourth restock, and it will arrive with all of its OG details and standard $300 price point.
Nike Dunk Low “Vintage Green”
Release Date: March 24
Release Price: $110 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Thanks to DIY sneaker customizers on social media, the pre-aged aesthetic on sneakers became a trend. Nike recognized this movement and decided to help make that job easier for its consumers by releasing various kicks with vintage-inspired design details and the latest to arrive on the market is the Nike Dunk Low “Vintage Green.” Uppers are given glossy green overlays while the midsoles are styled with a beige exterior to achieve the “older” aesthetic.
COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70
Release Date: March 24
Release Price: $150 USD
Where to Buy: Dover Street Market
Why You Should Cop: While the ongoing COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70 series continues to be popular, it’s no secret that both parties have capitalized on restocking the same colorways over and over again instead of bringing fresh energy to the line. However, that will soon change with this newest capsule as they’ve spruced up the low and high tops with daring red midsoles.
Air Jordan 3 “Muslin”
Release Date: March 24
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Jordan Brand has intentions of dropping a flurry of new retro offerings this season, and one of the more highly-anticipated variations is the Air Jordan 3 “Muslin.” It’s titular shade gives the kicks an almost vintage look and feel, but it’s also modernized as the overlays are bereft of the classic elephant print. Pops of red atop the Jumpman logos and eyelets also add a sweet touch.
Maison Margiela x Reebok “Memory Of”
Release Date: March 25
Release Price: $350 USD
Where to Buy: Reebok
Why You Should Cop: Maison Margiela and Reebok continue to find plenty of success with their collaborative initiatives. And this crossover of luxury and street continues this month with the release of their Classic Leather and Club C “Memory Of” collection. Both silhouettes come in either all-white or all-black motifs and feature co-branded tongue tags.
Power Rangers x Reebok “Villain Pack”
Release Date: March 25

Why You Should Cop: After first linking up in the Summer of 2021, the Power Rangers and Reebok are gearing up to launch their second capsule. This time around, Reebok has fashioned new renditions of the Hurikaze, Instapump Fury and Answer IV to channel the classic superhero series’ Rita Repulsa, Rito Revolto and Lord Zedd villains.
Krink x Vault be Vans
Release Date: March 25
Release Price: TBC
Where to Buy: Vans
Why You Should Cop: Brooklyn-based artist KRINK has been tapped by the Vault by Vans family to fashion his own sneakers and apparel assemblage. For the project, he whips up the Authentic VLT with his signature silver motif while a duo of Old Skools are prepared with branded and striped “stickers.” The collection is an ode to the artist’s graffiti and DIY sensibilities.
Nike Air Max 1s for Air Max Day
Release Date: March 26
Release Price: $160 USD

The “Blueprint colorway will be available to the North American territories, while the “La Ville-Lumière” will drop in Europe and the “Wabisabi” launches in Latin America on March 26.
adidas YEEZY KNIT RNNR “Stone Carbon”
Release Date: March 26
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: CONFIRMED
Why You Should Cop: Kanye West’s YEEZY KNIT RNNR hasn’t seen plenty of action since its debuted in September 2021, but that will soon change as the silhouette will finally be stocked on the shelves again in a muted “Stone Carbon” colorway. The kicks have been treated with a rather earthy ensemble as its nominal shade covers most of the ground while a rustic orange accents just around the ankle area.
