The fact that the Air Force 1 can still be sold on the shelves 40 years after its debut just goes to show how important of a silhouette it is to Nike. The brand continues keep things interesting for us on the consumer side by reimagining it with various materials, color palettes and embellishments, and this shroud-adorned Air Force 1 Low colorway is a prime example of that.

For this forthcoming installment, the Swoosh design team equipped the shoes with an oversized, removable shroud to give the shoes some extra dimension and flair. The earth-toned piece is accented with bold red Nike Sportswear logos, baby blue chains and metallic silver zippers that are molded into the shape of a Swoosh. Muted gray suedes make up the Swooshes and overlays and come offset by canvas toe boxes and quarter panels. Interior liners are coated with more baby blue to match up with the aforementioned chains. Riding down below is an angelic midsole piece and gum outsole to round off its design.

You can likely expect Nike to release these in the coming weeks so check out a detailed look at the pair above while you wait on their arrival.

In other news, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Home” colorway is on track to return.
