Desperados Collective Returns to Champion the Art of Collaboration

Following last year’s launch, Desperados continues to celebrate creativity with the second installment of “Desperados Collective.”

For this campaign, the brand champions the importance of collaboration and the sharing of experiences. As well as spotlighting rising creators from a range of disciplines, each creative is paired with an established artist to inspire their fresh concepts.

“Desperados Collective” 2022 enlists artist and fashion designer Loza Maléombho, visual artist Shuta Bug, artistic duo Anna Devís and Daniel Rueda, as well as the digital studio Elmotion Lab and illustrator PEBE Studio to craft striking artworks that capture Desperados’ experimental ethos of “a blend of the unexpected” through the brand’s iconic glass bottle. Speaking on their design, Devís and Rueda explain, “Our idea is to create a unique artwork taking inspiration solely from the Desperados bottle’s visual identity and its flavor palette. As you can see from our piece, what we want to do with this image is to, quite literally, plug into the party!”

When asked about the meaning behind this year’s project, Desperados’ Global Marketing Manager, Rutger van der Stegen said, “The Desperados Collective celebrates experimental mindsets and those who are unafraid to try new things.” He continued, “We’ve evolved the [campaign] from its launch last year to challenge like-minded creatives to push the boundaries and add a little unusual into their usual.”
