MING has revealed two versions of a new GMT model housed in a new 38mm case.

The MING 22.01 GMT is the brand’s first GMT model in four years and debuts a new case which bridges the gap between its 37-series and outgoing 17-series.

MING has created two variants, Kyoto and Gilt, offering muted shades of green and blue respectively. One thousand pieces of each variant will be produced, with 300 of each reserved for existing customers.

The microbrand has also adopted a new ordering system, taking on board criticism from collectors over a problematic series of recent drops. The new system will be staged over four separate ordering windows and will utilise a five-minute cart hold.

The watch costs CHF 3,250 (approximately $3,500 USD) with a 50% deposit payable on order and remaining balance payable before delivery, which is expected by the end of the year.

Orders open for the MING 22.01 GMT Kyoto on March 10 at 8AM ET for existing customers via MING and March 11 at 8AM ET for everyone else. The Gilt model will be available a week later at the same times on March 17 and 18.
