Centre Pompidou x Swatch Collection Adds Paris to Museum Journey Series
With watches based on works by Kahlo, Modigliani, Kandinsky and Modrian.

Swatch has created a new six-watch collection based on modern artworks hanging in Paris’s Centre Pompidou.
The Centre Pompidou x Swatch watches take on the colors and forms of works by Frida Kahlo, Amedeo Modigliani, Robert Delaunay, Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian across their dials, cases and straps.
The Swiss brand’s involvement with the French capital’s temple of modern and contemporary art stretches back to 1985, when it launched its Swatch Art Special line there.
Later in 2018, Swatch launched its Museum Journey series which bases watch collections on artworks from specific museums around the world, and has already focused on the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, the Musée du Louvre in Paris and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
The Centre Pompidou x Swatch collection drops online via Swatch from March 10 and will also be available via the Centre Pompidou.
