Levi’s Made & Crafted SS22 Is Journey Back to The 1950s
Reimagined takes on the brand’s heritage “Denim Family” label.

For Spring/Summer 2022, Levi’s Made & Crafted looks back to the Denim Family label Levi’s introduced during the 1950s, a line that was, at the time, designed to outfit the entire family. Reimagining the mid century collection, Levi’s Made & Crafted puts a genderless spin on classic styles, blending the past, present and future.
Inspired by contemporary sportswear and utility wear, bottoms arrive loose and wide-legged, while tops are drapey. The same denim fabric is used throughout the entire collection, featuring a deep shade of indigo, all of which is designed to be both genderless and extremely versatile.
From pleated trousers, ultra-wide hem shorts and brace overalls, to long anorak smocks, patch pocket jackets and a tunic-style cape, each piece is crafted using a lightweight 2×1 weft selvedge construction — as opposed to the 3×1 construction traditionally used — which is what helps to give each piece a modern shape and silhouette.
Each garment is rounded out with minimal branding arriving in the form of a special logo patch designed using Levi’s historic sunset logo.
The Levi’s Made & Crafted “Denim Family” collection is available to buy now from the Levi’s webstore, with prices starting from $248 USD.
In other fashion news, Dickies has also presented a denim-heavy collection for SS22.
