LaMelo Ball Honors Charlotte With New PUMA MB.01 "Queen City"
The most skilled Ball brother debuted this colorway during his first NBA All-Star appearance.

Amongst the younger batch of players in the NBA, LaMelo Ball is certainly one hooper that looks to have a bright future ahead of him. Having only played in the Association for one and a half seasons thus far, the 20-year old point guard has already earned himself Rookie of the Year honors and his first All-Star appearance. This year, he’s been balling out in his signature PUMA MB.01 kicks, and he’s just unveiled release information for his latest “Queen City” colorway that he debuted on during ASW.
Inspiration for these kicks is derived from Charlotte’s nickname which is given to the North Carolina city after King George III’s wife. Its presentation draws influence from the Charlotte Hornets team colors, most of which is dominated by a “Purple Glimmer” hue that covers nearly every part of the upper and the entire sole piece. “Blue Atoll” accents are utilized to cover the various branded hits down the tongues and throat as well as to outline the PUMA logos on the forefoot.
For those interested in adding these to their hoop rotation, you can find them releasing via PUMA and select retailers come March 18 in full family sizes.
Elsewhere in footwear PUMA recently unveiled its collaborative capsule with AMI.
