Official Music Video for Juice WRLD's "Cigarettes" Touches on the Complex Emotions of Overcoming Addiction

A new Juice WRLD music video has been released for the track “Cigarettes.” Earlier this month, HYPEBEAST reported that two animated visuals helmed by Steve Cannon have been released for tracks “Cigarettes” and “Go Hard 2.0.”
Now, the official music video for Juice WRLD’s “Cigarettes” has been released as a part of the new Fighting Demons (Complete Edition). The short film is also directed by Steve Cannon and sees Euphoria‘s standout actor Angus Cloud make an appearance. The premise of the video touches on the complexities and nuances of overcoming addiction. The video also dives into the polar emotions that can occur when someone is an alcoholic.
When Legends Never Die was released in 2020, the album shattered records and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. That same year, the rapper’s mother Carmela Wallace announced the establishment of the Live Free 999 Fund to honor the legacy of her son.
