Following a showing at the MA FASHION CSM show at London Fashion Week recently, South Korean designer Jiyong Kim has now shared the Fall/Winter 2022 collection from his eponymous label.

The seasonal range builds on the designer’s sun-bleached outlook on fashion and delivers a selection of striking developed wares. Pieces are treated with extensive color fading caused by the sun to highlight silhouettes and details. The process marks a dedication to sustainability that accompanies the usage of selected vintage and dead-stock textiles.

JiyongKim‘s FW22 collection features garments that focus on unique layering, pleating, asymmetric patterns and placement details. Accented by natural sun-faded effects developed through exposure to the sun, wind and rain for months. The relaxed silhouettes are constructed to further Kim’s rejection of the wasteful nature of fashion that traditionally uses large amounts of water and harmful chemicals to produce desired coloration.

Take a look at JiyongKim’s FW22 collection above.

For more contemporary fashion, MIDNIGHT STUDIOS recently launched “MIDNIGHT ART DEPT.” with its The Batman release.
