When the EF Pro’s Ruben Guerreiro cruised to victory in stage 9 of the Giro d’Italia back in 2020, he did so riding a Cannondale SuperSix EVO x Palace — a collaborative bike now lauded as one of the most controversial in the sport.
Clad in an EF Pro x Palace x Rapha jersey that would ultimately be deemed non-compliant by the UCI, the team was subject to a hefty fine of CHF 4,500 per team rider and its sports director, which roughly equates to $4,900 USD in total.
Two-years on and The Pro’s Closet is giving enthusiasts the chance to own a piece of cycling history with a raffle that sees the winner become the recipient of a Cannondale SuperSix EVO x Palace bike from that year’s race.
Runners-up prizes include a POC Ventral Air Spin Helmet EF x Palace and Rapha x Palace Pro Team Jersey, both sized medium.
Enter the raffle via The Pro Closet’s webstore for $10 USD per ticket before the March 24 closing date. Please note, to enter you must be a legal resident of the United States.
