Bravest Studios Commemorates 'Jeen-Yuhs' Act III Via a Collaboration With Creative Control
Featuring two tees inspired by Ye’s ‘The College Dropout’ and ‘DONDA’ days, mesh shorts and more.
It may be somewhat challenging to be a supporter of Kanye West right now due to his ongoing antics on social media, but many of whom have tuned into to Jeen-Yuhs — a three-part documentary directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah that takes viewers through the awe-inspiring journey of the hip hop icon — have certainly developed an even deeper appreciation for his work. And Creative Control — the production company helmed by Coodie and Chike — has tapped burgeoning label Bravest Studios for a collaborative collection to commemorate the release of the film’s final episode.
The concise range includes a trio of tees, two mesh shorts and a trucker hat. Two of the tees are fashioned in such a way that playfully nods to Ye’s music eras both past and present. The first features a bear that is fitted with West’s garb from his The College Dropout album cover while the second displays the bear rocking his all-red YEEZY x GAP Round Jacket reminiscent of his DONDA listening party in Atlanta. Co-branding also appears beneath the graphics. The rest of the pieces in the collection are styled in a minimal fashion. There’s a short-sleeve black tee, mesh shorts that come in black and green colorways and a trucker hat, all of which are embellished with the words “Jeen-Yuhs: Act III Awakening Property of Creative Control.”
Check out a closer look at each product in the gallery above and expect Bravest Studios to drop them on March 9 at 12pm EDT.
