Blake Van Putten’s CISE Brand Launches “Protect Black Women” Collection for Women’s History Month
Expanding its product line to include ready-to-wear sweatsuits and more.
Burgeoning brand CISE – helmed by fashion designer Blake Van Putten – has become notable for its highly-coveted “Protect Black People” merchandise founded in 2020. For Women’s History Month, the brand is expanding its product line to include newer options.
The new collection is titled “Protect Black Women,” and essential items from the drop include “PBW” mini bags in vegan leather and vegan suede, “PBW” sweatsuits, and a “PBW” tote bag. Matching sets comprise a centered “PBW” embossed logo on sweatshirts and smaller logo placement on the upper left side of sweatpants.
The vegan leather bags come with removable shoulder straps, and colorways include pink, mint green, black, caramel and more.
Van Putten’s signature bas-relief handbag engravings have become a celebrity staple, with clients including Lizzo. Additionally representing his brand, Van Putten was a featured industry expert on the HYPETALKS “Black Fashion Image Makers” panel, hosted on HYPEBEAST’s Twitter Spaces.
