A.P.C. FW22 Illustrates the Importance of Friendship
Including a range of patterns and prints.
A.P.C. has revealed its Fall/Winter 2022 collection that showcases the holistic importance of friendship. Instead of holding a physical runway show, the French contemporary brand opted to shoot the FW22 lookbook with its friends’ children.
The collection harbors classic, yet refined pieces including knitwear, coats, shirts, trousers and more. Knitwear is a collection focal point with sweaters coming in a range of designs including argyle patterns, plaid, stripes and technical camouflage. The same attention to multicolored patterns extends to outerwear garments that feature plaid, cheetah print, striped, jaguar print and puffer designs that are brought to life through wool, cotton and nylon fabrics.
By uniting children of A.P.C. friends and collaborators, the new collection presents a youthful manifestation of A.P.C.’s 35-year history and culture.
“All our friends participated in what A.P.C. has become today and I would like to pay a special tribute to them,” said A.P.C. founder and creative director Jean Touitou. “And, for me, the presence of their children in this two-day session is a symphonic moment.”
