Armin Strom Drops Jungle Green Limited Edition Gravity Equal Force

Armin Strom has dropped a limited edition version of its Gravity Equal Force with Jungle Green guilloché dial courtesy of world-renowned watchmaker Kari Voutilainen.
Voutilainen’s dial-maker, Comblemine, hand-turned the off-centre dials for Armin Strom with a horizontal line pattern that mirrors the architecture of the movement and contrasts against the black PVD-coated plate surrounding it.
The 41mm Gravity Equal Force was introduced in 2019 as a novel approach to constant force, the watchmaking grail of being able to deliver a consistent level of torque to a watch’s escapement across the power reserve of its mainspring.
Most solutions until then had attempted to regulate the power output after it had already left the mainspring, but Armin Strom’s solution was to install stop work to keep the mainspring from fully unwinding, ensuring a consistent delivery of power over 72 hours.
The 15-piece Gravity Equal Force Jungle Green drops this month via Armin Strom, priced $22,900 USD.
