Taka Hayashi and Vans Prep the AMZN TRL LX in Pecan Brown and Fig Colorways
Adding the latest duo to its hiking-ready series.
Vans and Taka Hayashi debut a new pack of AMZN TRL LX sneakers in earthy trail-mix colorways. The Japanese artist and in-house designer for the California skate brand has been releasing countless designs with plays on signature silhouettes for about a decade. Previous releases include a racing-inspired capsule and a military-inspired “DIY” pack. The duo recently took to the trails with the AMZN TRL V3 LX in “Marzipan/Pebble” and “Deep Teal/Chalk Violet” as a nod to the Amazon rainforest.
Continuing the hiking theme, the AMZN TRL LX, a low-top version of the former, is outfitted in two color schemes with the first taking on a mix of mesh and leather uppers in Pecan Brown and suede overlays in Dusty Coral. A soft pink shade covers the lace support on the heel pull tab and tongue with a khaki hue detailing the laces, upper eyelets, branding tabs and the heel of the midsole. The rest of the midsole is done in Turtledove and sits over a brown rubber outsole.
The second pair follows the same construction but opts for stealth get up with berry-like hues as the base and a Fig colored overlay. Black embellishments run throughout the shoe including the midsole and outsole.
Head over to Slam Jam’s website to cop the Taka Hayashi x Vans AMZN TRL LX in both colorways for $157 USD a pair.
