Who said strategy games can’t look good as well? Definitely not Gucci with the release of its Decorative Wooden Chessboard.

The elevated take on the classic strategy game arrives in a beige and ebony varnished mahogany wood with printed and solid-colored tiles. Whether it be a knight or king, all of the cast iron and aluminum alloy chess pieces in black and ivory are complete with the Gucci logo.

But aside from the focal games pieces, perhaps the most striking feature of the piece is its GG Supreme briefcase for storage. The classic briefcase is outfitted with the brand’s signature red and green Web stripe and the Double G motif. Finishing off the briefcase is a Radura print interior lining, brown leather trim and gold hardware accents.

Although the Italian luxury house says it’s meant for decoration, you might get away with playing a game or two. Check out the gallery above for a look at the piece. Retailing for $10,400 USD, Gucci’s Decorative Wooden Chessboard is available now online.
