Part 2 of ‘Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’ Will Return in July
More epic battles await Ichigo and his crew.
The first cour of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War finished airing in Japan on Monday. A short promotional teaser was broadcasted along with the final episode, confirming that the anime will be back in July 2023.
The second part, titled Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation will continue to adapt the final arc of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga. The original manga began serialization on Weekly Shounen Jump in 2001, and finally wrapped up in August 2016 with a total of 74 volumes. The entire Thousand-Year Blood War arc spanned a total of 19 volumes, and the first part of the anime adaption only just about covered 5 volumes worth of content.
The 95-second-long trailer teases the upcoming installment with various shots of concept art, overlayed with character voiceovers, hinting at more fierce battles to come. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer above.
