It’s no secret that Jordan Brand rides hard for the Asian community as it always makes a point to deliver a special collection when it’s time to celebrate Lunar New Year. We’re still a month removed from the festivities, but we’ve already gotten a peek behind the curtain into the brand’s “Year of the Rabbit collection that features the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, Luka 1, Air Jordan 37 and more, and now it’s welcoming an Air Jordan 1 Low Elevate entry,

From a visual standpoint, the kicks keep the same earthy ensemble as the rest of the offerings of the Chinese New Year capsule. A dusty green hue is most pronounced here as it drapes the overlays that fall adjacent to the throat and around the toe tips as well as the outsoles. Swooshes and heightened heel overlays are treated with suede textures, the former being filled with brown while the latter pokes out in a bright yellow. Inside the kicks, you’ll find furry white liners that likely represent a rabbit’s skin. Much like the aforementioned Air Jordan 1 Low OG, the insides of the tongues are decorated with a bunny icon as well as the numbered notation that indicates what pair it is out of 5,000.

Peep a closer look at the kicks in the gallery above and expect them to drop likely before the January 22 holiday.

In other news, Jordan Brand Spring 2023 retro collection has been announced.
