London-based streetwear label, Corteiz, has teamed up with British-Nigerian artist, Olaolu Slawn, and rising London-based director Walid Labri on an immersive campaign video called “DA SKYDIVE,” with the mini-movie celebrating the launch of the “DA SKYDIVE” leather jacket.

Corteiz has had a busy 2022 that has been packed with consistent drops and collaborations, with the brand teaming up with the likes of U.K. rap stars, Meekz, Dave, and Central Cee. Now, the imprint is closing out the year with an independently-shot film Slawn, with the new jacket being the staple piece from a new, 30-garment collection that is set to drop on Saturday.

Slawn is no stranger to clothing collaborations. For example, the artist — who Hypebeast recently spoke to — linked up with Australian-based label Ksubi for their “FUCKSUBI” collection – Slawn’s first-ever fashion collaboration.

The BRIT Award trophy-designer is captured falling from outer space and plummeting into the depths of central London before landing on top of taxi in “DA SKYDIVE” jacket. The short film is directed by long-term brand affiliate and collaborator Walid Labri and Clint – who ensured attention to detail remained paramount in the visuals – with shop names, signs and number plates rebranded with Corteiz slogans.

Wearing the rigorous “DA SKYDIVE” jacket, the dropped-shoulder design is complemented with debossed Corteiz branding on the chest and back and white tailored detailing around the sleeves. Rounding off the design, the sharp collar comes alongside “DA SKYDIVE” branding on the internal lining.

You can take a closer look at the “DA SKYDIVE” campaign video and jacket above. Furthermore, the full collection – which is expected to feature new T-shirt, tracksuit, and accessory iterations – will be available to shop on the official Corteiz website from December 24.
