Tekla is Getting Into the Festive Spirit With "Shadow Stripes" Collection
The Danish sleepwear brand launches its winter collection just in time for the holidays.
When you think about Christmas colors, garish tones of red and green may be the first that spring to mind. But for Tekla, the idea of the holiday season has sparked a different visual, in the form of a dark winter night.
Marking the beginning of the festive period, the Copenhagen-based brand has launched its new holiday collection of sleepwear, bedding, and towels. The colorways have been informed by the tones of the sky in the winter months, from inky blacks to deep blues. Warm whites are introduced to lift the darker shades, while also providing a simple base to two graphic stripe patterns named “Shadow Stripes” and “Night Stripes” respectively. These patterns are seen across both poplin pajamas and the percale bedding. On the duvet, the contrasting colors are exaggerated through the use of black button fastenings.
The brand says:
“A new collection of sleepwear, bedding, and towels marks the arrival of the holiday season. Crafted in contrasting colorways evocative of a winter night, the collection comprises two seasonal graphic striped designs, plus new Midnight Black and Brilliant White colorways.”
Prices for the bedding begin at £28 (approximately $33 USD), while sleepwear starts at £95 ($113 USD). Both are exclusively available on the Tekla website now.
