The SOUTH2 WEST8 x On Cloudaway Is Designed for Fishing and Outdoor Expeditions
The Japanese label applies its signature graphics to the upper in forest green.
SOUTH2 WEST8 is pushing its collaborative sneaker portfolio further this December as it has just announced a brand new team-up with On Running that features the latter’s Cloudaway model. This is the latest installment in its footwear journey and serves as follows up to its Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge team-up that was released earlier this month as well as its WAIMEA H2 interpretation with KEEN.
When SOUTH2 WEST8 was cooking up this offering, its intention was to formulate a sneaker that was primed for fishing activities and outdoor adventures. The Japanese streetwear label’s signature DNA is prominent across the uppers as its signature green graphics are printed across the toe boxes, along the side panels and on top of the tongue stripes. A solid black hue takes over a majority of the real estate here as it coats over the mesh tongues, lateral and medial walls and the mudguards, the latter of which arrives in vegan suede and comes held down by exposed stitchings. Stuffed inside the midsole piece is On CloudTec® technology which supplies wearers with plushy cushioning.
