NEXUSVII. Digs Into the Archives for FW22
Featuring collaborative pieces with Buzz Rickson’s and GENERAL RESEARCH.

Following its SS22 “Daydream Believer” collection, Tomohiro Konno‘s NEXUSVII. now returns with a range of cozy Fall/Winter 2022 offerings. The Japanese imprint is known for its imaginative use of unconventional and archival materials, incorporating pigment from red roof tiles of Shuri Castle and from used skateboards in the past to create special colorful dyes.
The fervor for creating unique, classics-inspired garments continues this season as the brand builds upon vintage deadstock fabrics from Setsumasa Kobayashi’s now-defunct GENERAL RESEARCH project and collaborates with BUZZ RICKSON’S, which specializes in recreating the charm of vintage Mil-Spec flight jackets. Various pieces enlist are finished under the supervision of freelance designer Masaya Tokushige, and additional standouts include hand-distressed denim, reverse-shearling jackets, and various distinct carrying options and headwear including trucker-explorer hat hybrids and quilted chain-link totes.
Take a closer look at NEXUSVII.’s FW22 lookbook above and stay tuned for release updates.
