Watch Netflix's Ominous Title Sequence Trailer for 'Wednesday'
Arriving later this month.
Netflix is gearing up for the release of its highly-anticipated Tim Burton series, Wednesday. Ahead of its release later this month, the streaming giant has revealed the ominous title sequence that gives audiences a glimpse of the “kooky, mysterious and spooky” events slated to occur within the Addams family.
The upcoming Addams family-inspired show is slated to arrive in the next couple of weeks. While most fans are used to hearing the snap at the end of The Addams Family theme song, this is not the case for the new series. While it does hold similar kooky and creepy themes, it does so in a way different than the original show. Tim Burton came up with the concept for the credits with composing Danny Elfman, hopefully bringing a sinister yet playful tone to the series.
The series stars Jenna Ortega who plays the titular character of Wednesday Addams who is a student at Nevermore Academy. The series follows Wednesday as she attempts to solve a murder mystery that seem to involve her parents Gomez and Morticia, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán.
Wednesday premieres November 23 on Netflix. Watch the title sequence above.
