UPDATE: After surfacing via detailed on-foot shots last November, Fly Streetwear’s Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration has now resurfaced on our radar in the form of official Nike imagery. The Shanghai-based label reimagines the classic skate shoe with feather-inspired Swooshes as Chinese characters that dress up the footbeds. Additionally, the kicks are accessorized with feather earring graphics that adorn the lateral heels and the left shoe’s insole. At the time of this update, a release date hasn’t been revealed, but sources say these could arrive during the Spring 2023 season.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

Following an initial preview that surfaced in October, the Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low has received an on-foot look.

2022 saw Nike SB dive into its usual collaborative mindset, tapping on multiple creatives and shops to set their touch on classic skate models. As 2023 approaches, sneak peeks of potential partnerships have begun to emerge, which will act as highlights to the forthcoming year.

Rumored to release in Spring 2023, the Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low is one to keep an eye on. On-foot images see the sneaker in an active light, kicking things off with a smooth grey leather base that allows contrasting tones to shine. Shaggy “Game Royal” suede overlays run through the mudguards, lacing systems, ankle flaps, and heel counters.

Vibrant lime green rear tabs boast Nike branding, while exterior-facing sail medial Swooshes see a feather-like design and dangling tassels for an ornamented look. The interior branding is displayed in its original form, while thick-cut rope laces resemble braided suspension cords seen on tassel heads.

Co-branded motifs hit the tongue labels, as the left features Nike SB insignia, and the right is marked with its collaborator’s logo. Yellowed midsoles and grey bottoms round out the design.

Take a closer look at the Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low in the gallery above. The sneaker is currently slated to release in Spring 2023 for $120 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike Air Max 1 “Hangul Day” receives a global release date.
