Christopher Ward Doubles Down on the C1 Bel Canto With Green Dial
Limited to 300 pieces.
Christopher Ward‘s sleeper hit C1 Bel Canto watch that sold out in eight hours was just released in a second batch of green dials. The disruptive watch, which offers a Sonnerie au Passage complication — chiming every hour — for an agreeable price (many alternatives will run five to six figures) was released in a limited run of 300 pieces where watch enthusiasts quickly jumped aboard to own the unique mechanical Swiss chiming watch.
In a clever marketing push, while keeping numbers relatively low, the watch brand had a second “Green” version ready to go where it launched for those who subscribed to be notified for a “Blue” restock. With no surprise, the Green dial version sold out, but this time in roughly three hours. Priced at $3,400 USD, the demand for this watch does not seem to be letting up as fans have already filled the brand’s comment section with requests for a black or purple version.
