AïE’s FW22 Collection Explores the Power of Abstract
Available now on the official Nepenthes London website.
Nepenthes’ London-based store has just presented AïE’s latest installment for Fall/Winter 2022 and its stylistic cues are drawn from various elements of popular culture; from explosively-diverse outerwear to more contemporary pieces that are adorned in abstract patterns and rough-and-ready fabrications.
Last Year, AïE’s Winter collection featured warm fleeces, along with a melange of gritty textures that were integrated across a variety of double-breasted coats and wide ponchos. This time, however, the New York-based label is experimenting with color like never before as the imprint has combined a selection of contrasting hues across a variety of trousers, silk shirts, and jackets.
Collection highlights are the corduroy Krazy Pant which comes in a “Chestnut Cotton” colorway. The trousers combine hues of beige and grey and take on the appearance of an off-the-cuff up-cycled design. Rounding off, the Krazy Pant comes finished with silver button details and a metal zip-puller.
Elsewhere, AïE has also presented a new PLO shirt which comes in a “Red/Brown” hue. The Abstract print jersey features a melange of red, green, and brown tones and is finished off with low-riding cuffs, slouched shoulders, and a sharp, fitted collar.
You can take a closer look at the full collection from AïE above and it is available now on the official Nepenthes London website.
