8 Moncler Palm Angels Brings the Heat to Your Winter Fits
Featuring fuego footwear from Tod’s.
Winter is ripping its wrath around the globe, but the cold chill won’t be stopping 8 Moncler Palm Angels from injecting some summer sun into your cold fits this season. Following on from a series of drops celebrating Moncler’s 70th anniversary, as well as Palm Angels and Moncler’s numerous past collaborations, the two fashion titans are back together under the Moncler Genius division to deliver a slice of ’90s Miami hedonism and nostalgia.
Enlisting supermodel of the world Naomi Campbell and fashion’s current photography darling Quil Lemons, 8 Moncler Palm Angels presents a capsule collection comprising Italian glamor and Miami flair. The result includes a gold Keon jacket, accented with Moncler monikers and palm tree motifs for a piece that transcends seasons.
The collaboration perfectly bridges the two brands’ worlds, as other puffer numbers come in yellow with red flames on them, acting as a quintessential nod to Palm Angels. Black puffer vests echo such streetwear undertones, whereas a long-line puffer coat in a collegiate mix of green and yellow is fit for any sporting sideline in the cold.
As the collection grows, we find plenty of references to the 1990s — bell bottoms are cut low-rise and serve a look Julia Fox would approve of, while track pants in gold, royal blue or shiny black are tight and sporty. And rounding out the apparel, collegiate and varsity themes continue with cardigans, “A”-stamped sweaters, and zip-up track jackets all making an appearance.
Not one to not offer a complete look, 8 Moncler Palm Angels has teamed up with the luxury footwear label Tod’s to create the flame and intarsia-covered Gommino driving loafers, as well as a pair of winter-ready Gommino boots that are supported by a gum sole unit and its two-tone leather construction.
8 Moncler Palm Angels drops in-store and online on November 30. Take a closer look at the Naomi Campbell-starring campaign above.
