Universal Confirms 2024 Release Date of Upcoming M. Night Shyamalan Thriller

No plot details have been revealed for Shyamalan’s newest thriller.

Universal Pictures continues to expand their partnership with famed director M. Night Shyamalan. The studio has now announced yet another new thriller coming from the director, set to release in 2024.

Currently, two-time nominated filmmaker Shyamalan is set to release another thriller with Universal titled Knock at the Cabin starring Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Jonathan Groff, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Ben Aldridge. The new 2024 release will be the sixth movie Shyamlan will release with the studio. So far, the Shyamalan and Universal partnership has landed four successful releases including, The Visit, Split, Glass and Old have grossed a combined $713 million USD globally. Old is slated to release on February 3, 2023, and follows a girl and her parents who are taken hostage by armed strangers while vacationing in the woods. The family has to make an unthinkable decision to avoid an apocalypse.

The 2024 thriller from Shyamalan and Universal is slated to arrive on April 5, 2024, however, no further details regarding the plot or a wider release schedule have been revealed. It appears that the studio is looking ahead to 2024 and banking big on Shyamalan. Look out for the imminent trailer likely to arrive next year.
