Sandro Captures a Lowkey ’70s Vibe for SS23
Mixing in sleek tailoring and cool knits for next season.

One thing that Sandro has consistently done as a brand, is making great suits – for both daytime and nighttime wearability. In conjunction with suiting, the French fashion label has also been keen on crafting a range of luxe basics, and for Spring/Summer 2023 it has captured a lowkey 1970’s vibe by mixing in sleek tailoring and cool knits for next season.
For visual aesthetics, Sandro has presented the new collection with a lookbook that juxtapositions its SS23 tonal clothing against elements of nature. Orange rib-knit hoodies and caramel suede leisure jackets vividly pop against a green garden ripe with pink and yellow florals, brown compost mounds and a pale grey skyline.
Lilac stonewashed denim is seen in the form of a button-down, long-sleeve shirt and matching denim pants, graphic printed Greco-Roman-esque bust sculptures are digitized on the front of full-zip Hawaiian leisure shirts, and cozy wool tops receive a ribbed short sleeved cuff treatment. Tailored items comprise a ’70s-style notched lapel powder blue, single-breasted suit, a pair of slim-fit navy trousers, brown wide leg pants and a sleek cinnamon car coat.
A collection standout includes the introduction of a taupe long-sleeved crochet sweater that has a contrasting powder blue and navy blue boxed center.
Sandro’s new SS23 collection release date and pricing details will be made available on the brand’s website.
