Following the success of the first collection, New Balance is releasing a second “MADE in the USA” series with Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis as creative director. The upcoming series draws from outdoor influences to craft cozy wardrobe staples and footwear incorporating seasonal colors of “Rich Oak” and “Midnight Green.”

Arriving on the 40th anniversary of the 990 silhouette, “MADE in the USA” Season 2 focuses on the 990v1, 990v2, and 990v3 silhouettes which feature bold juniper and maple hues woven into the original grey, navy, and tans from the original NB 576. A small selection of apparel consists of long-sleeve thermals in complementary tones.

“The team is excited to introduce Season Two of our Made in USA seasonal collection with Teddy Santis as our Creative Director. This collection is inspired by the beauty of nature and our favorite outdoor activities and gear. The content illustrates the inspiration for the range and the craftsmanship that goes into the footwear and apparel.” said Mike Meloski, Senior Product Manager MADE in USA at New Balance.

New Balance’s second “MADE in USA” collection is scheduled to release October 9 on the New Balance website and at select retailers on October 27. Prices range from $64 to $180 USD for apparel and $190 to $200 USD for footwear.

In other news, the Nike Air Force 1 Low arrives in chocolate tartan prints.
