Following the debut of the 2023 BMW M2 earlier this month, the Munich-based automaker has announced a hefty list of performance parts that will become available as add-ons to the vehicle upon its arrival in April 2023.

On the exterior, BMW has crafted a series of carbon fiber parts, including a front splitter, side skirts, frontal air intake inserts, mirror caps, a rear spoiler and a diffuser. Additionally, the carmaker offers an M-labeled tow strap and M Performance titanium and carbon fiber exhaust tips for a final flair.

The vehicle prioritizes agility in its control, and the M Performance suspension system makes that sentiment a reality. The add-on includes height-adjustable spring cups in both the front and rear axles, which allows drivers to lower the ride height by up to 10 millimeters. The result is a fortuitous driving dynamic closer to the road surface. For increased driving style, drivers can select 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels in either M Frozen Gold Bronze or M Jet Black.

For the exhaust, BMW M offers a titanium silencer system that offers reduced weight, with front pipes made from lightweight stainless steel. With electric flaps and central tailpipes, the exhaust system is available in combination with a modified carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Inside the vehicle, customers can select M Performance interior trim panels in carbon fiber and Alcantara. BMW also supplies carbon fiber seatback covers, which can be added to the M Sport seats, an M Performance steering wheel, carbon fiber shift paddles and door sill plates. There are also Alcantara knee pads, which elevate the sporting experience with additional support for driving around hard corners.

Pricing information has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for further details as the 2023 BMW M2’s delivery nears in April of next year.

Elsewhere in auto news, Porsche has introduced its lightweight sports car, the 911 Carrera T.
