Roddy Ricch To Perform on ‘Saturday Night Live’ Next Week
The first artist of the show’s 2022 season.
Roddy Ricch will be making his Saturday Night Live debut next Saturday, January 15. The episode marks the kickoff of the television show’s 2022 season.
The Compton rapper will be appearing alongside first-time host Ariana DeBose, who starred as Anita in Stephen Spielberg’s West Side Story.
“I’m hosting Saturday Night Live,” DeBose announced on Twitter yesterday. “Hold please while I go collect my extremities, as I have exploded from excitement and sensible fear.”
Ricch released his sophomore album Live Life Fast last month. The 18-track LP followed 2019’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial and features appearances from Future, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Takeoff, Jamie Foxx, Lil Baby and Gunna and more. He’s currently working on a new mixtape called Feed Tha Streets 3.
Roddy Ricch’s performance on Saturday Night Live will air on NBC on January 15.
