Nike Embraces Winter With the "Snowflake Pack"
Subtle winter accents for the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90.
Nike reinterprets its Air Technology through subdued, icicle-inspired reiterations of the classic Air Force 1 Low and Air Max 90 silhouettes.
The Air Max 90 preserves its nostalgic waffle sole and tonal topstitching, adding frosty, two-tone accents and a textural leather snowflake overlay at the midsole. Pastel blue accents run across the vamp, tongue, and collar, complemented by speckled two-tone laces.
The second iteration reimagines the iconic Air Force 1 Low in a glacial, soft-touch suede reminiscent of the first snow of the year. The refined, clean, icy grey upper pairs nicely with the electric pastel blue Swoosh and upper tongue that pops against the white midsole.
The winter-themed kicks are replete with seasonal detailing while nodding to Nike’s gravity-defying cushion platform that merged streetwear with sport and culture. Nike reimagines its timeless ‘90s aestheticism through a winter wonderland lens. Icy-cool, textural accents elevate the two iconic silhouettes into sub-zero iconography. The silhouettes remain tried and true: light like air and now as icy as the history that catapulted sneaker culture into the mainstream.
