Lonzo Ball Out for Six to Eight Weeks Due to Knee Surgery
The Chicago Bulls star could return just before the playoffs.
Lonzo Ball is expected to be out for six to eight weeks as he undergoes surgery on his left knee.
As reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Chicago Bulls star will receive arthroscopic surgery after suffering a small meniscus tear. He played 24 minutes during the Bulls versus Golden State Warriors game on January 14, but was sidelined the following day as the Bulls took on the Boston Celtics due to knee soreness.
If Ball’s treatment follows a good pacing, he can return around March before the playoffs begin. The Bulls are currently the number one team in the Eastern conference with a 28-15 record.
