Spoiler Alert: The following contains spoilers for Peacemaker.

Peacemaker director and writer James Gunn recently took to Twitter to showcase a short clip from the fifth episode, “Monkey Dory.”

In this particular scene, John Cena can be heard reciting a list of celebrity options that could be framed for murder and sent to jail instead of his father, Auggie Smith. Smith is portrayed by Robert Patrick in the series. In a Tweet, Gunn explains that this particular scene was largely improvisational between him and Cena stating, “Some of the list was scripted, some was John improving, & some was me improving & throwing names at John. It went on forever & we lost it a lot. Our usually-professional crew fell apart at the Riverdale mention.”

The scene saw Cena list everyone from Ariana Grande to Drake to Michael B. Jordan to BTS and last but not least, “the f***king cast from Riverdale.” It appears that much of the series’ dialogue toes the line between scripted and improvisation. Some of the show’s most iconic lines including the infamous line about the Wookies where Peacemaker tells Nhut Le’s Judomaster, “Here’s a little-known fact: Wookies have teeth on their asshole. That’s canon.” Due to HBO Ma and DC’s trust in Gunn, he was able to make the claims regarding the Wookies and Ariana Grande and even other DCEU heroes work in the show, making Peacemaker‘s dialogue in a league of its own.
