Irvine-based brand OBEY is no stranger to cozy pieces laden with graphic prints. However, this time the streetwear brand decided to expand its accessories offerings with a new blanket collection. To do so, OBEY teamed up with heritage Dutch blanket maker Aabe for a short series of graphic pieces.

Beginning in the 17th century, the Netherlands-based brand has a long-standing history of producing quality wool blankets. The partnership with OBEY features three distinct blankets that were produced at a textile mill in Northern Italy. Inspired by classic and seasonal graphics, the blankets are washed in a myriad of colors. First up is the “Peace Dove” blanket, which includes a beige base and multicolored geometric designs in black, red and white. Finishing off the blanket is a white dove in the center. The next offering is a space green blanket titled “The World Is Yours.” The blanket is complete with explosion, bear and barbed wire graphics in lavender. For a pop of color, the item includes the OBEY name and blanket’s title in bold yellow. The final piece in the series is the “Giant Face” blanket that features OBEY’s signature logo in black and white.

Each blanket is limited to only 250 pieces and is comprised of naturally sourced and environmentally friendly raw materials from New Zealand, Australia and Mongolia.

Check out the gallery above for a look at the blankets that are available now in-store and on OBEY’s website.
