Nissin Revives Two Cup Noodles Flavors From the ‘80s and ‘90s
Re-releasing the Pork Chowder and Pork Scallop Chicken flavors.

To further celebrate its 50th-anniversary, Nissin has brought back beloved classic Cup Noodles flavors in the 1980s and 1990s.
Including two fan-favorite flavors, the release includes a reproduced version of the best-selling products during the Shōwa and Heisei era – Pork Chowder and Pork Scallop Chicken flavors debuted in 1983 and 1991 respectively. Pork Chowder noodles features slow-cooked pork pieces with dehydrated scrambled eggs, cabbage and onions in a thick ramen soup, while Pork Scallop Chicken noodles start off with a soy sauce soup base, topped with scallop-flavored fish cakes, pork, eggs, bok choy, cloud ear mushrooms, and carrots.
Set to drop on September 28, both iconic flavors packaged in “BIG” size will be launched at 7-Eleven exclusively for ¥215 JPY (approximately $1.94 USD).
