The New Balance 550 Adopts a "Syracuse" Colorway
Joining the recent debut of the “UNC” variation.
Adding to a lineup of collegiate color schemed pairs, New Balance stacks on a new 550 in a Syracuse-inspired colorway. Earlier in the week, the Boston-based company debuted the silhouette with accents of the “UNC” blue hue.
The design starts off with a mix of smooth and perforated crisp white leather uppers embellished with pops of citrus orange and lined with a stark black hue. The orange flair touches on the tongue branding, mesh ankle collar, inner lining, heel underlays and outsole while the main “N” logo found on the laterals opts for an outline surrounding a puffy white filling. Black details found above the toe box, midsole and center outsole add a subtle contrast to complete the look.
Look out for the vivid orange and white New Balance 550 to release for $110 USD in the coming weeks at select retailers and the brand’s official website.
