Analogue‘s highly-anticipated Pocket handheld gaming device has now been hit with a third delay.

Announcing the news over on Twitter, the company says that it now hopes to start shipping the Pocket out in December after manufacturing was affected by Coronavirus-related delays.

“Unfortunately, due to new [COVID-19] restrictions with our assembly partners, their capacity to deliver within our agreed timeframe has been affected,” explains Analogue in a statement. “This has created a domino effect of delays beyond our control in what would otherwise be a seamless process.”

“We understand how frustrating this is. It’s very frustrating for us, too,” the company continued. “We are excited to get these amazing devices in your hands as soon as possible.”

Elsewhere in gaming, rumors of an 8K-capable PlayStation 5 have surfaced.
