In light of 20 years of animation’s favourite furry duo, adidas and Pixar collaborate on a special collection made up of four Monsters, Inc sneakers and accompanying apparel, basketballs and football cleats.

The four sneaker iterations encompass the recognizable characters: Mike Wazowski, Sulley, George Sanderson and of course, Boo. Fluorescent green and positively garish, Mike Wazowski’s D.O.N Issue 3 is one for those looking to make a statement. The sneaker’s bold details include a black wavy line on the upper sole, a rough textured material on the body finished with a single Mike’s eye on the tongue. Sulley’s Dame 7 EXTPLY is just as eye-catching, with purple splashed across the blue body, and like the previous Sulley x Stan Smith iteration, this model is bursting with fur, from the tongue and back heel.

adidas’ classic Forum Low gets the George Sanderson makeover with a vibrant orange body, yellow fur and a collar lining that includes the sock referenced from the film. The final in the series, and possibly the most paired back of the sneakers, is the Boo NMD featuring a soft purple colorway and embroidered flowers on the toe box. Each sneaker incorporates the phrasing “You and I are a team”, a message that looks to Sulley and Mike’s everlasting friendship.

Take a look at the full Monsters, Inc offering in the gallery above. The Basketball, Originals and apparel collection drop globally on September 25 on adidas.com while the football cleats will drop October 7.
