Vault by Vans Upgrades the Sk8-Hi Reissue with Ultra-Premium "Dream Leather"
One of the most elevated iterations of the Sk8-Hi you’ll ever lay eyes on.

In Vans‘ own words, Vault by Vans is “where we keep the good sh*t.” The Vans sub-label is all about faithfully re-crafting and meticulously elevating classic styles, and one of the results of this dual-pronged ethos is an ultra-premium take on the Sk8-Hi Reissue that uses “Dream Leather.”
First introduced in 1978 as the Style 38, the Sk8-Hi usually equips a durable mix of canvas and suede on its upper. However, the “Dream Leather” is made for lifestyle wear instead of intense skate sessions — so it uses an ultra-supple full-grain black leather on its top half. Even the contrast stitching is kept tonal, with the only diversion from the monochromatic look provided by white Jazz stripes that snake across the lateral and medial quarter panels. Tongue badges are done up in leather as well and boast a debossed Vault logo. Down below, white midsoles feature a tonal rubber stamp on the heel and white waffle outsoles complete the look, rounding off the most premium Sk8-Hi this side of Vault By Vans’ past Horween and Diemme collaborations.
The Vault by Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue “Dream Leather” is available at retailers like Concepts for $120 USD.
